A big change in Kingston’s craft beer industry became official on Friday, but consumers might not even notice a difference. Spearhead Brewing Company will now be owned and operated by the owners of Skeleton Park Brewery under a new parent company called Spearhead Brewing Incorporated, which also owns the recently purchased Signal Brewery in Corbyville. While officially Spearhead becomes the property of Skeleton Park CEO Trevor Lehoux and his two business partners, it will remain business as usual for the over ten year old brewery.Lehoux said he could not share the financial details of the two sales. DENVER (KDVR) -- The Arvada Fire Protection District and Westminster Fire Department competed Saturday in a turkey drive to see who could collect the most frozen turkey donations.The drive was held at the Appliance Factory on West 88th Avenue until 3 p.m. Prepare for Thanksgiving with these Denver-area turkey trots The turkeys were being collected for families in need. The event also included fun and games.The competition for bragging rights started out pretty even -- as of 12:30 p.m., Arvada Fire had collected 119 turkeys to Westminster Fire's 113. Only an hour later, though, things were much different. Westminster Fire rallied to raise their total to 168 turkeys, 23 more than Arvada Fire's 145 turkeys. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police Interim Chief Robin Henderson released the name of an APD officer who was killed in the line of duty early Saturday morning during a SWAT response.Senior Police Officer Jorge Pastore and one other officer were struck by gunfire. Austin-Travis County EMS medics took the two officers to Dell Seton Medical Center, where Pastore died."My heart is heavy today," said Henderson in a social media post. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Austin Police are searching for a missing juvenile believed to have been taken by his grandmother without his consent, a release from the department says.Adrian Patlan's grandmother, Tarra Ann Wright, is believed to have taken him, according to APD, and he was last known to be in the 7900 block of Running Water Drive. The area is in southeast Austin, which is east of Bluff Springs.Patlan is described as being 5'3", 178 lbs., and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jogging pants and black Crocs. Police say Wright is driving a 2009 black Porsche Cayenne SUV with Texas License Plate SLK3921.
