Israel unveils what it says is major Hamas hideout under hospital By Victor Caivano | Associated PressGAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — The Israeli military on Wednesday unveiled what it claimed was a Hamas military facility under Gaza’s largest hospital, showing what appeared to be a subterranean dormitory to a group of foreign journalists who were given a rare glimpse inside the besieged enclave.Dozens of soldiers escorted journalists through a narrow stone tunnel — which the military said stretched 150 meters (164 yards) — to a series of underground bunkers beneath Shifa Hospital in a shattered Gaza City. The living quarters, located at the end of the tunnel, had an air conditioner, kitchen, bathroom and pair of metal cots in a room fashioned from rusty white tile. They appeared to be out of use.Since Israel declared war against Hamas on Oct. 7, it has repeatedly accused the Islamic militant group of using Gaza’s hospitals as cover for military use. It has paid special attention to Shifa, saying Hamas has hidden command centers and bunkers und...

Change that water every 30 minutes,” she said. It’s what you’ll need to do if you haven’t thawed your...

Bills’ midseason defensive additions CB Douglas and DT Joseph have made an immediate impact ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills’ defense is banged up. What else is new?A few things, actually. The significant contributions made by cornerback Rasul Douglas and defensive tackle Linval Joseph a mere three weeks following their arrival haven’t gone unnoticed.“It’s pretty remarkable to be honest,” safety Micah Hyde said, referring to Douglas, who had two interceptions and recovered a fumble in a 32-6 win over the Jets on Sunday. “Midseason, coming in and learning the playbook and being able to go out there and not just know what he’s doing, but to play fast is pretty impressive.”And then there’s the 35-year-old Joseph, who has combined to play 79 snaps to stabilize the middle of Buffalo’s defensive front.“It’s huge. It’s huge,” Hyde said. “For them to come in and step in and give us a little boost, a little energy is cool.”It’s a boost the Bills (6-5) certainly needed after adding the veterans over a two-day span to reinforce a defense missing three starters.Rasul, ...

Y se produjo a expensas de los escépticos de la IA que, según muchos, fracasaron en su intento de adoptar una postura de principios a fa...
